Tamarind Village Hotel Apartments Mombasa, Mombasa

I loved staying at this unique hotel owned by individuals, as the rooms were very spacious and fabulously furnished. They were clean, and I didn't encounter any mosquito problems, probably because they regularly spray. The individual taste in furnishing added a special charm. While the service was always really nice, there were moments when it could have been more polite. The location in Nyali on the creek with a beautiful view of Mombasa was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere. Dining experiences weren't always as attentive as I hoped for, with cold food needing re-warming, but the hot and cold sandwiches were tasty.

I found the hotel to be centrally located, offering a relaxing setting with clean rooms and a well-stocked mini bar, although the occasional mix-up with food orders was a downside. Despite this, the helpful service staff made my stay enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable room, offering a fantastic view. The location was excellent, situated in a quiet part of Mombasa yet close to various activities. However, the dining options were not up to par, and the lack of renovation was noticeable.
